A Field Guide to Borealis Breads - Page 4

French Dinner Rolls are made from the same dough as our French Baguette. Currently we make these just for food service, so look for them at your favorite restaurant that serves Borealis. These little beauties are just right for serving with dinner or to go with soup.
Currently available wholesale for food service only.

Wheat bulkie rolls
Our Hamburger Bulkie Rolls are available in either white or wheat, made from the same dough as our baguettes. These are great rolls that are the foundation for memorable burgers or sandwiches.
Currently available wholesale for food service only.

Pummpkin Raisin comes to us in the fall. It is an autumn blend of wheats with a smattering of pumpkin, dotted throughout with raisins. It's a bit sweeter than most of our breads, and can serve as toast on a crisp fall morning, or as the basis for creative seasonal sandwiches. Serve it all by itself with a big of butter to round out a pleasant lunch with friends. It will be a big hit.

Keeping Borealis Bread at Home There are no preservatives or trans fats in Borealis Breads so the shelf life is shorter than you may be used to. If you aren’t going to eat what you have in the first few days you should freeze it. The bread freezes beautifully. Don’t put this bread in the refrigerator. Store it on the counter in a plastic bag or, if you should happen to have one, an old-fashioned bread box.
