Belfast Co-op

At a venerable 30 years old, the Belfast Co-op is Maine's oldest and largest co-op, carrying a wide variety of local, organic and natural foods for the community.

Their mission is sustainabiliity. They strive to be economically sustainable, socially sustainable, and environmentally sustainable.

The Co-op hosts regular workshops, forums, entertainment and meetings on matters of community interest, and a grand customer appreciation party in the summer.

They stock wine, beer, Caldewll Farm organic meats, and a full line of bulk grains and spices. The Cafe is a great place for meals to go or to sit over a sandwich,
