Bow Street Market, a Freeport institution, is just past the curve on Bow Street in Freeport, Maine. It has been a regular stop for Freeport residents and visitors alike since 1946.
Sheila and Adam Nappi are the second generation owners of the Bow Street Market. It is, as Adam puts it, "proudly local and independent."
It's a pleasant, neighborly store for daily shopping, with quality meats, groceries, a large wine section, cold beer and soda, prepared foods to take out, produce, snacks and chips, canned goods and all the little things one needs to pick up on the way home from work.
Borealis Breads are available every day at Bow Street Market.
