Rising Tide Community Market in Damariscotta has come a long way since its early days nearly 30 years ago as a buying co-op in the barn of a nearby farm. Today it is a pleasant store offering a wide variety of products including produce, meat, dairy and other products, many of which were produced nearby. It's where people in that part of the mid-coast got to get fresh, local food.

Rising Tide is on Upper Main Street in Damariscotta, in the Coastal Market group of stores, along with Yellowfront Grocer.

Rising Tide has a wide selection of wines, coffees, cereals and grains both packages and in bulk, frozen food and nutritional supplements. They make grab and go sandwiches, prepared meals, soups and baked goods.
